First it was revealed that Zendaya is playing a character called Michelle in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Then it turned out (thanks to The Wrap) that she was actually playing Mary Jane Watson, despite Marvel's attempts to hide the fact. Lots of people lost their mind over that one, bless them.
Now it turns out that actually she isn't playing MJ at all: Latino Review have doubly confirmed thanks to a call-sheet that she's definitely playing Michelle. Even though that's probably PRECISELY what a company trying to pull a character twist would want us all to think...

Yep, one of them is definitely 100% true: she either is or she isn't.
For what it's worth, Zendaya is playing Peter Parker's love interest (according to the first Variety report into her casting). Does it matter if she's called Mary Jane Watson? Or Gwen Stacy? Or the vague, non-surnamed Michelle? No, it doesn't. This is all just needless distraction.
