12. How Peter And The Vulture Get Involved

Slashfilm's report reveals the connecting tissue that brings Peter Parker and Adrian Toomes together in the first place.

Toomes is responsible for the ATM heist that we've seen in the trailers - perpetrated by the gang dressed in Avengers masks - and when Spidey takes them down he draws Vulture's attention. Tony Stark tells him to keep out of it and concentrate on school - and that he could have a chance of becoming an Avenger after college.

But then when he finds some of Toomes' tech, he investigates it and finds a trail to Washington DC. To get there, he joins the track team who are going on the trip we saw in the second trailer. And of course his investigation annoys Vulture, who takes it upon himself to sort it out.
