9. The Animated Movies Aren't In The Same Universe

When it was announced that Phil Lord and Chris Miller were set to make an animated Spider-Man movie (fingers crossed for LEGO), it was a very good companion to the MCU news. But it seems the two universes are not linked, so if a character appears in either, it is not then ruled out of appearing in the other.

Amy Pascal confirmed that Marvel aren't at all involved in the animated movies:

“They just weren’t part of it. It was something we were doing with Chris and Phil Miller, and it’s a very different kind of take on it? It’s another realm. ”

So that means we might get Miles Morales in a live action movie after all? Sign me up.
