Spider-Man: Homecoming - 26 New Things We Just Learned

22. Michael Mando Isn't Playing Anyone Special

Expecting Better Call Saul's Michael Mando to be playing Carnage? Maybe dial back your expectations, because the latest trailer revealed him, and he's decidedly unspectacular.

By the look of it, he's just another one of Toomes' mooks, along with Donald Glover and Logan Marshall-Green - though there might be some confidence to be taken from how consciously secretive the film-makers and talent were about the nature of their characters. Perhaps there IS more to it.

Michael Keaton revealed his character's relationship with his "boys" as he calls them, and it doesn't a lot like they look up to him as a cultish leader. That would fit with the suspicions he's leading a terrorist organisation:

“I think it’s an assembly of people he’s needed, just hired ’em on, and others that have loyalty. They’re his boys, and they are like-minded. They are just his boys, you know?"
