33. Ned Is Ganke

Though the brilliant Jacob Batalon is playing "Ned" and it seems at first that he's a version of Peter Parker's Daily Bugle co-worker Ned Leeds (who is actually older than him in the comics). But he's actually more likely another character entirely from the Spider-Man comics.

Batalon is clearly based more on Ganke Lee, Miles Morales' hyperactive classmate and friend from the Ultimate universe. In both cases, the character knows his best friend's secret identity and is a super-intelligent support for him. He's basically Miles' "guy in the chair".

Both Gank and Homecoming's Ned also share an affection for striking animal designs on their T-shirts.
