32. Betty Brant

Like all great movie schools, Peter's has an internal TV news network with a news show presented - badly - by Betty Brant and Jason Ionello.

Both are from the comics. Ionello debuted in 1995 in Untold Tales of Spider-Man #1 as part of Flash Thompson's popular kids crowd who picked on Peter Parker.

Brant is far more famous: she would go on to work at the Daily Bugle, appearing in the Sam Raimi movies played by Elizabeth Banks. Here, she's played by Angourie Rice.

There's also a pretty big hint that Cindy Moon is part of the academic Decathlon team, played by Tiffany Espensen. The character would go on to become Silk in the comics.
