Spider-Man: Homecoming - 8 Villains The Sequel Could Introduce To The MCU

6. Kraven The Hunter

Marvel Comics

Any Spider-Man villain whose crimes involve joining a certain crew with 'Sinister' in the title are prime candidates for the Homecoming sequel.

But the group members who've never appeared in a movie before have a stronger case for inclusion than their more familiar teammates.

Kraven The Hunter is one such baddie, and he’s also a character more than capable of making a mark on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The deadly game hunter is most famous for defeating Spidey in the 1987 storyline Kraven’s Last Hunt, a tale which reminded us why Spider-Man needs Peter Parker.

Kraven masquerades as the web-slinger after seemingly shooting him dead, in an attempt to prove that he would make a superior Spider-Man.

While our not-so-friendly neighbourhood Kraven is brutally efficient in the role, it soon transpires that Peter’s humanity is an integral part of Spider-Man - without it, he’s simply not the hero the world needs.

Introducing Kraven into the mix would be a good way to put Tom Holland’s Spider-Man on the fast-track to seasoned crimefighter. A few rounds with the Hunter and he’d be more than ready to join the Avengers.
