Spider-Man: Homecoming - Predicting The Plot In 8 Steps

4. Tony Takes Peter's Suit

As shown in the most recent trailer, this scolding involves Tony taking Peter's tech-heavy Spidey suit away from him.

Tony mentions that he wants Peter to be better than he was, and that the suit doesn't make the man, a truth that Stark himself has been forced to confront over the course of his Iron Man career.

In a way, Tony is using Peter to try and atone for the mistakes he's made over the last few years - he wants Peter to be "better", and not make similar mistakes - like the creation of Ultron, the Sokovia battle and the Civil War fallout.

It's a great moment and really shows how much Tony's character has developed from the self-centred, arrogant playboy we first met back in 2008, and for Peter, this moment will likely force him to embrace his more thoughtfully heroic side, rather than simply acting on impulse and rash emotions.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
