Spider-Man: Homecoming - Predicting The Plot In 8 Steps

2. The Plane Crash Lands By A Theme Park

This damage will lead to the plane crashing back to Earth, on a sandy beach next to a theme park. Since the vehicle contained extremely valuable, precious cargo, Vulture will be mad as hell - and he'll set Peter in his crosshairs.

This is where we'll get the final hero versus villain showdown. Vulture will inevitably monologue about how he's going to kill Peter, but our hero will obviously escape.

We don't think Iron Man will fly in and save the day - this movie seems to be about Peter's transformation into a true hero, so he'll need to prove himself without the help of any Avengers (after requiring Tony's assistance during the ferry scene).

We think Peter will defeat Vulture without the help of any Spider-Man powers. The film wants to prove Peter is more than just a suit, and this would be one way to drive home that point. He could pick up a nearby weapon that fell from the plane, and, in a cool twist, use it on its creator.

However it goes down, the outcome will be the same; Peter subdues his enemy, and the villain's part in the film will be over.
