1. Peter Gets The Girl

The title 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' is a reference to the Homecoming Dance, an event held by high schools and colleges up and down the United States.

We saw preparations for this dance being made in the first trailer, with Liz decorating a school wall with a banner.

And then, in the latest trailer, we saw Liz leaning in to get a smooch off Mr. Parker, at what looks to be some sort of disco/party.

This will be our traditional 'hero gets the girl' moment, with the Homecoming Dance symbolic of both Spider-Man's return to Marvel Studios and Peter's transformation into a new, more confident person, by realizing he can be cool and popular without the help of his Spidey suit (which is why he defeats Vulture without the aid of his powers).

The finale of the film will also feature a scene between Peter and Tony. This will be the webslinger's 'official' induction into the Avengers; he'll get his more advanced suit back, and Tony will recognize that Peter is ready for the big-time, after the way he handled Vulture.

And the final shot of the movie?
