Spider-Man: Homecoming Reviews - 10 Early Critical Reactions
6. Iron Man Doesn't Steal The Movie
One major concern among fans is that the presence of Iron Man would overpower the film and detract from it actually feeling like a Spider-Man movie.
Thankfully numerous critics have confirmed that Tony Stark absolutely has a smaller supporting role, backing up recent reports that he only spent three days on set.
His role has been said to be much smaller than in Captain America: Civil War, where he was essentially the second protagonist. Instead, his part is focused mostly on his growing paternal bond with Peter, making him likeable once again after his more ambiguous portrayal in Civil War.
