Spider-Man: Homecoming - The Daily Bugle DOES Exist In The MCU

New Japanese footage also reveals Spidey has an app for that.

So it seems the Daily Bugle is a thriving newspaper even in the MCU.

Thanks to a Spider-Man: Homecoming event that took place in Japan, showing some new footage from the film and allowing fans the chance to see some of the props, we now have confirmation that the paper will be part of the MCU.

Whether it will be more than background detail remains to be seen, but it's supremely unlikely that we'll get to see a new J Jonah Jameson in Homecoming, since Peter Parker is still in school and will be for at least one sequel. Still, it's good to know it'll be coming in the nearish future.

Previously, there were some rumours that we were going to see a female J Jonah Jameson, but it has since been revealed that Tyne Daly is more likely to be playing the head of Damage Control instead.

The cover stories appear to show a link to Black Panther as well as a tie to the Washington Monument disaster that we know plays a part in the Homecoming plot. There's also a very strange story about someone famous being involved in a chihuahua ring. Well, it wouldn't be the Bugle without something silly.

Obviously they haven't developed their anti-Spidey manifesto yet...

There's also a confirmation that Spidey's new suit will somehow be tied to an app on his phone. Whether this is how he tracks the Spider Tracker or not remains to be seen, as he isn't wearing the suit in the image and he obviously was when he sent his drone out.

Perhaps this is him discovering that Tony Stark has a tracker built into the suit? Maybe Stark is kidnapped by Vulture and he has to go and retrieve him, discovering his whereabouts using the app?
