13. Attack On Stark Tower?

It looked in the early trailers like Vulture was going to attack Stark Tower as a symbol of Tony Stark's empire (and the faceless corporate villains who ruin Toomes' life and career). That's all but confirmed here, with shots of the Tower and of Toomes looking out over at it from the distance.

This is basically the short-hand for villain looking at his target.

We also get a shot of "That bozo" Iron Man's new armour too as the trailer reinforces how much the Vulture hates him.

Clearly Vulture thinks he's in the ascendancy until Spider-Man turns up, so it's ironic that Stark tells Peter to leave him to those who are more suitable to taking him down.

Whenever he's out of his costume, it's hard to actually call Toomes a maniac: he seems to act and speak rationally, which is precisely part of his appeal - he's the real man biting back.
