This being a John Hughes-inspired movie, we knew we'd actually get a Homecoming dance (it was already teased in previous trailers after all), but it was just as inevitable that it wouldn't go down smoothly.

Since the major narrative conflict for Peter is between being a kid and being a hero, it should come as no surprise that his dance is interrupted by some call to Spidey-action as confirmed in this final trailer. He's seen running through the school in his prom suit, ceremoniously throwing off his tie as he changes into his costume in flight.
