Whenever a new version of Spider-Man is introduced in Into the Spider-Verse, they get a classic opening that flicks through their own comics. If you keep your eyes peeled, you'll actually notice that the names of some of those who created these specific Spider-Men are on the front.

Brian Bendis and Sara Pichelli get another shout for when Miles is introduced, Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez appear once Spider-Gwen enters the fray, and David Hine, Fabrice Sapolsky and Carmine Di Giandomenico get individual nods for when Spider-Man Noir joins too. Peni Parker, meanwhile, sees Gerard Way and Jake Wyatt appear on her cover.

In an age where comic book creators are starved for recognition, and for inspiring the most lucrative onscreen genre of the modern age, it's really refreshing to see them appear in one way or another for Spider-Verse.
