Contrary to popular belief, Spider-Ham was not made as a reply to The Simpsons' Movie's notorious Spider-Pig. He was actually created in 1983 by Tom DeFalco and Mark Armstrong, and really, what you see in Into the Spider-Verse is what the character is actually like in the comics.

His name's Peter Porker, he's a spider who gets bitten by a radioactive pig, and hey-presto, he became the titular Spider-Ham. There's... not that much else to him.

Porker stole the show in so many of his scenes, and as far as alternate Spider-Men go, he may actually be one of the most prolific, with countless appearances in TV and video games to his name.
