Spider-Man Noir, like Spider-Gwen, had previously made the leap from comics to animation before Into the Spider-Verse, and is probably one of the more recognisable versions of Peter Parker today. He was the focus in Beenox's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions video game from 2010, and it even looks as though Peter Parker's upcoming stealth suit in Spider-Man: Far From Home is partially inspired by his out fit too.

But anyway - what is Spidey Noir all about? Well for starters this version of Peter Parker matures during the Great Depression of the 1930s. He was still bitten by a spider, but this one contained mystical properties in a throwback to the pulpy tales of the period. He wears a trenchcoat, carries a gun, and Aunt May moonlights as a socialist activist in her spare time.

Oh, and as Nicolas Cage eloquently recounts in the film, he fights Nazis too. It's the perfect Spidey package, and one of the standout characters from Into the Spider-Verse.
