Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse - Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

15. Rio Morales

Spider Man Into The Spider Verse
Sony

While her relationship with her son isn't portrayed as prominently as her husband's, Into the Spider-Verse makes it clear just how important Rio Morales is in Miles' life, particularly as he begins struggling with his identity as the new Spider-Man.

It's clear from the get-go that she is doing everything in her power to make sure her family's relationship is a healthy one, acting as something of a peacekeeper between the straight-laced Jefferson and the more free-spirited Miles.

What's more, she does all of this while maintaining her job as a nurse, a role that is fairly stressful and demanding in its own right. In turn, Rio, while not terribly active in the plot, is effectively one of the most grounded, true-to-life characters in the film.
