Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse - Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

13. Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099

Spider Man Into The Spider Verse
Marvel Comics

Like with his A.I. assistant Lyla, Miguel O'Hara (aka Spider-Man 2099) does not appear in Into the Spider-Verse proper, but rather, makes a cameo in the post-credits scene.

That being said, Miguel's role in said scene makes for what is quite possibly the single best post-credits scene in Marvel movie history, as well as the single funniest moment from any Spider-Man film released to date.

Without spoiling what exactly happens, just know that it is representative of Sony rolling with the bizarre in-jokes Spidey fans have latched onto over the years, as well as so incredibly meta that even Deadpool is going to have a difficult time topping it.

What's more the stage is set for a sequel for Miguel and Lyla to return, which will almost certainly lead to even more fun with the futuristic Spidey characters.
