As mentioned, the reveal that Spider-Man would be sending the villains back to their impending fates sets up conflict between Doctor Strange and Spider-Man. Strange believes it is their fates and Spider-Man blindsides him by stealing the magical cube.

The last trailer showcased two sequences where the two heroes were at odds, both outside the Sanctum Sanctorum and on a train. This trailer shows extended versions of these scenes, including one where Strange uses his abilities to trap Peter and seperate his astral form from his body.

Peter also tries to plead with Strange during the train sequence to try and find another way of stopping the villains instead of sending them to their doom. Strange objects, adding that they are too dangerous and a threat to their universe.

While the heroes will surely make up before the final act of the film, it seems that things are going to be quite tense between the two Avengers, which means we are likely going to be treated to a fun fight scene.
