Jamie Foxx's Electro has been confirmed by the actor himself to be appearing in the film for a while, however the trailer finally showcased him in the MCU for the first time. This time around, the villain has a new glow and has ditched the blue skin tone and lightning for traditional yellow lightning.
Fans are likely to be happy over the new appearance, as many criticised the character's appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with Marvel even adding a nice nod to his comic book costume with a headpiece made out of yellow lightning.
Electro seems to be at odds with both Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus in the film, with the character having no intentions to return to his home universe.
