Spider-Man: No Way Home: 24 WTF Moments

2. Mid-Credits Scene: The Symbiote Joins The MCU

The film's mid-credits scene sees Eddie Brock aka Venom (Tom Hardy) make his first appearance in an MCU movie, after Venom: Let There Be Carnage's credits scene shockingly saw Brock be transported into this universe.

In No Way Home's mid-credits scene we see Brock at a bar, getting wasted while talking to the bartender about the MCU, namely Iron Man and The Hulk, with Venom joking about how terrible a name "Hulk" is ("And you thought 'Lethal Protector' was a s**t name").

He then discusses Thanos' impact on the universe and mentions an interest in talking to Spider-Man.

At that moment, however, Brock is suddenly transported back to his own universe by the completion of Strange's spell, while a small sliver of the symbiote is left behind.

The possibilities here are endless of course, though the most obvious suggestions are that it's either setting up a Symbiote Suit Spider-Man in a future film, or a clash between Spidey and Venom - or both, assuming a fourth film ever actually happens, that is.
