Spider-Man: Ranking All The Movie Costumes Worst To Best

8. Spider-Man (Homemade Suit)

When the first Spider-Man hit the theaters in 2002, fans weren't sure what they were going to get. This was Peter Parker's origin story, told for the first time in a feature film. In the comics, he debuted with a webbing hood over his face, but the movies were bound to add a little something on his first outing.

When Peter makes his way to the cage match, he doesn't just throw a webbing hood over his face to hide his identity, he puts together some duds in a color scheme that would inspire the creation of his future suit.

A red ski mask obscuring everything but his eyes met a red shirt he somehow had made with the perfect Spider-Man logo. He wore blue pants and some white gloves with red accents. This was definitely something he threw together from scraps in his closet, but the theme was there.

This wasn't the more streamlined suit he would use to fight the Green Goblin, but it was a lot better than what he wore in Amazing Fantasy #15. The theme was there along with the colors, which is why this homemade suit isn't as bad as it may look on the surface.
