Spider-Man Upcoming MCU Trilogy: 9 Things We Want To See
4. Daredevil Crossover
One thing the MCU’s incarnation of Spider-Man included which none other instalment had done before is the influence from other superheroes.
In Homecoming, we saw Tony Stark babysit Peter followed by the more controversial relationship established with Quentin Beck in Far From Home. Joining Peter in No Way Home was a combination of Doctor Strange and the other Spider-Men as they all experimented with major multiversal interactions. But as we continue, who else could cameo?
A common contender Spider-Man has joined forces with multiple times in the comics is Daredevil. Matt Murdock and Peter have both battled against common enemies as well as even each other. Sharing skills in acrobatics, precise aim and severe close combat, the two would be a perfect team for any upcoming threat.
The obvious detail to highlight in No Way Home is Charlie Cox's short reprisal of Matt Murdock, wearing the same sunglasses and exhibiting the same heightened 'lawyer' skills catching a stray brick. After Peter moves into a run-down apartment in an NYC backstreet, could their neighbourhoods collide during the Devil of Hell's Kitchen's return?
Alongside Vincent D'Onofrio's full appearance coinciding with No Way Home's premiere date, Marvel is definitely setting up a conflict which will require the heroes of New York to come together once again.
