Spider-Woman: 10 Things You Need To Know Before Her Movie

1. The Movie's Logline

While the screenplay for Spider-Woman is being worked on, Sony obviously has a rough idea of what they want from this movie. A logline elaborates on that, and sheds some light on what fans can expect from this big screen version of the iconic superhero.

It's said that the movie will revolve around "Jessica Drew, a young woman who decades ago grew deathly ill after months of exposure to the uranium being used in her father’s scientific experiments. He was forced to use an experimental medicine, which was based on the biology of an irradiated spider, to save her."

"She was sealed away in a genetic accelerator in an attempt to amplify the effects of the serum," it continues. "Jessica wakes decades later, having not aged much in that time. She also gains a set of powers, along with no memory of who she was in the past."

For the most part, that's almost identical to the source material, but there are bound to be some changes made along the way, especially if Venom and Morbius are anything to go by.

Josh Wilding hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
