Spider-Man: Homecoming - 6 Villains Michael Keaton Could Play (& 4 He Shouldn't)

5. Kraven The Hunter

It might seem a little early in the new Spider-Man universe to introduce someone like Kraven, but there are a number of selling points for the hunter.

After Spidey's debut in Civil War, the attention on the Avengers and their new recruits will have reached its peak, and having Kraven turn up to hunt Spider-Man for his uniqueness could very easily be written. He would be aware of the young hero's existence, and it would offer a smart dynamic between Peter Parker having to balance his home life with a villain so relentless.

Keaton might seem a little old to take on Kraven, but there's no real need for him to be a muscle bound athlete. If Pete Postlethwaite can take down a T-Rex and Indiana Jones can still crack his whip, age isn't a barrier. Slightly reimagining Kraven as an ageing veteran hunter who isn't feeling challenged until he sees footage of Spider-Man is a great thought.
