Star Trek: 10 Embarrassing Movie Scenes That Should Never Have Been Filmed

1. Kirk's Death 2: The Underwhelming - Star Trek Into Darkness

star-trek-into-darkness-hands Kirk has been killed twice in the movie arm of the Star Trek franchise, and both times it was rubbish. While his death in Star Trek: Generations was due to the writers admitting they were too green to handle a momentous cinematic event like Captain Kirk being killed off, the writers of Star Trek Into Darkness, Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman, were much less humble. In fact, Bob Orci decided to tell anyone who dared to tell him that the film sucked to go f*ck themselves. The majority of the final act of Into Darkness is a nonsensical rehash of the climax of The Wrath Of Khan. It is almost word for word in its plagiarism. But whereas Spock died in the 1982 classic for a reason, in Into Darkness there isn't one. What makes it worse is that Quinto-Spock is forced to say €˜€˜KHHHAAAAANNNN!€™, a line only Shatner could do ever do justice. And then to rub salt into the wound, Kirk is brought back to life 5 minutes later and acts like nothing happened. It is totally pointless and unnecessary. Into Darkness wasn't the best film in the first place, and this scene took things to a new low. My face collided so hard with my palm (repeatedly) that the audience in the next screen were forced to ask for a refund because of the noise. This scene shouldn't have just been edited out, it shouldn't have been stolen from The Wrath Of Khan in the first place. In fact, the whole film could have been left on the editing room floor, and the world would have been a better place. Like this article? Let us know in the comments section below.
