Star Trek Into Darkness: 10 More Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

7. Slusho

It's a J.J. Abrams film, so of course, there's going to be a reference to Slusho, the drinks company that first surfaced in Cloverfield, and has since apparently appeared in each of his films. Though reports conflict on exactly where it appears in Star Trek Into Darkness, the consensus seems to be that it is during the bar scene in San Francisco in which Scotty and his buddy Keenser are drowning their sorrows after hitting the bricks. An ad for Slusho can be seen, and you can guarantee that the second the movie's Blu-ray is out, Trekkies will be darting to the scene to prove their friends wrong about when and where it appears exactly. Though Abrams didn't specify where it was, he did at least support those who were adamant that they saw Slusho in the film; he has confirmed in interviews that it, like R2D2, is definitely in there.
