Star Trek Into Darkness: 10 More Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

8. Praxis Is Destroyed?

When chasing up a lead on John Harrison, the Enterprise Away Team ends up heading to Qo'noS, at which point we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a dead or dying moon, which will be interpreted readily by most hardcore Trek fans as the Klingon moon of Praxis, which famously exploded at the opening of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. However, interviewers who have attempted to prise infromation out of the cast and crew have mostly come up fruitless, with a clearly non-committal stance being taken across the board. Eagle-eyed Trekkies have uncovered evidence suggesting that John Harrison may be responsible; the website AreYouThe1701.com contains a Starfleet Memo referring to the peculiarly misspelled "Praxxis Project", though again craftily, much of the information is redacted, so fans can only piece together small morsels of it.
