Star Trek: Ranking Every Starfleet Uniform Worst To Best

6. Star Trek: Discovery (USS Enterprise)

These are the uniforms that Star Trek: Discovery should've used from day one.

Constructed from the same patterns as the blue Discovery costumes, the USS Enterprise duty uniforms return the franchise's costuming to the bold, distinctive colors of The Original Series while putting a modern spin on the classic uniform style. Excluding the dozens of screen printed Starfleet insignias, these uniforms are identical to the ones worn by the crew of the Discovery, but the color pallet has been shifted to fit The Original Series aesthetic and these costumes jump off the screen.

Gersha Phillips' Enterprise costumes debuted in Star Trek: Discovery's season two and are apparently the new "very colorful" uniforms in the fleet. By the end of season two, the USS Discovery sadly missed out on its shipment of new uniforms before it Red Angel-ed into the 32nd century and will continue to rock the blue and bling for another season. But with the promise of new adventures in Short Treks or perhaps even a Captain Pike-centric show, it's possible we'll be seeing more of these superior Starship Enterprise uniforms in the future.
