Who Is He? Young Mr. Bell shot straight to our hearts in one of the great British Films of our time, Billy Elliot. Luckily, this was no fluke, and Bell has transitioned from uber-talented child to capable and brilliant young man. His angular face and electric eyes give him a heightened energy that is a joy to watch. Why He's Great For Solo: Bell has turned out a bunch of Solo-worthy performances so far. In King Kong, he is a young rogue, in way over his head on Skull Island. In Hallam, he plays a wayward youth who follows his own instincts, regardless of a cost. In Defiance, as Asael Bielski, Bell further proved his pluckiness, passion and big old beating heart. All of these films, it should be noted, showcase Bell's solid performances. Not since Billy Elliot has he been given a true "giant" of a part, but perhaps now is the time. On The Other Hand... That's the problem though - he hasn't been front and centre in a movie since Billy Elliot. Bell, though a reliable and exciting presence on screen, may not be able to match the star power that the role of Han Solo deserves. Let's see how his Thing does in Fantastic Four.
