3. Fives
Fives undergoes one of the biggest arcs throughout The Clone Wars. We see him throughout his training, his graduation, his promotion to ARC Trooper and even as a fugitive. He is one of the best examples of the clones being portrayed as more than just soldiers.
Fives was unafraid to stand up for what he believed in, and he placed the lives of his friends above all else, even if that meant enticing the wrath of General Pong Krell during the Umbara arc. This earned him a reputation as a maverick and loyal soldier. This fierce loyalty and need to do the right thing were sadly the same things that would lead to his tragic death…
After Tup's inhibitor chip malfunctions, Fives finds himself going down a rabbit hole conspiracy that almost leads to him preventing Order 66. In what is one of the most heartbreaking moments in the show. Fives dies before he can expose the Emperor's secret plot.
He only appears in 15 episodes of the show, but he is instrumental in Ahsoka and Rex surviving Order 66. Not bad for the once former rookie.
