Star Wars: 10 Most Badass Clone Troopers

2. Fordo

Star Wars Captain Rex
Lucasfilm

The original clone badass. This red ARC Trooper gave General Grievous a run for his money in the 2003 Clone Wars show. Able to hold off waves of battle droids on his own, Fordo set the standard all other clones are held to.

A fairly one-dimensional character compared to others, Fordo makes up for it in raw cool factor. We are first introduced to him during the Battle for Muunilinst where he aids Obi-Wan Kenobi in apprehending Separatist leaders, even battling with the bounty hunter Durge in the process.

However, this was just a warmup for Fordo, as he and his team were sent to rescue a group of Jedi duelling General Grievous. Surrounded by an army of droids, Fordo was able to get his troop carrier in, fend off the Jedi-killing general, rescue the survivors and escape without a scratch. It is fair to say the odds were about even.

We last see him during the invasion of Coruscant. Clad in his phase two armour, he defends an entire sector singlehandedly like an eighties action hero.

If the Jedi wanted a swift end to the war, they should have just sent in Fordo.
