Star Wars: 10 Most Powerful Things Darth Vader Ever Did

5. The Hallway Scene - Rogue One (2016)

Audiences already knew that Darth Vader was one of the most powerful and intimidating movie villains by the time Rogue One was released in 2016. The inclusion of the hallway scene near the very end of the movie only served as a reminder of Vader's physical strength.

After the plans to the Death Star fall into Rebel hands, Vader is left to try and retrieve them, which he attempts to do quickly and unsparingly. When a few Rebels become trapped in a hallway, Vader dispatches them all through a mixture of force attacks and lightsaber strikes. By the time the last Rebel is left standing, the fear in the room is almost tangible. The lone rebel managed to pass the plans onto another soldier on the other side of a broken door, but even that didn't stop Darth Vader from finishing him off with his lightsaber.

The way in which Darth Vader manages to slaughter eight Rebels in less than a minute is simply badass, and clearly illustrates that the character is a force to be reckoned with.

In the Original Trilogy, Darth Vader never quite reached the physical movements and gymnastics that many Force-users exhibited in the Prequel Trilogy, but this small scene at the end of Rogue One proved that he didn't need to in order to prove his power and crush Rebels.
