Star Wars: 10 Most Underrated Sequences

6. Jango-1 Obi-Nil - Attack Of The Clones

Boba Fett had been a man of few (and rather muffled) words during his time on Episodes V-VI. So it was a surprise to fans when Lucas decided to present Boba as a child, ushering in Jango his Kiwi father, whose role in the creation of the Empire entered into history. If Boba had been a bad ass, Jango was the bad ass tree his bad ass had fallen from. Casting surly hard nut Temuera Morrison as Dad meant there was probably a hell of a confrontation lined up, and we were treated to just such a dust-up when Obi Wan arrived on the tidal planet of Kamino, where the grizzled gunsmith was holed up assisting the clonemakers with their Stormtrooper project. You could tell from the off that these two guys were going to lock horns and their brief but memorable face off in the stinging spray is everything a good Star Wars fight sequence is made of. Aficionados may have been a bit "meh"ed at the time, but I urge them to go back and reassess this section. It's good quality action cinema. The best bit was you got to see a Fett jet pack working properly, with Jango taking to the air to launch a major assault on the fresh-faced Jedi Master. This was opposed to the pesky bit of kit that sent Fett Jr spiralling down into the belly of the Sarlacc Pit, to be digested for all eternity like a Greggs pasty.
