6. The Empire's Jedi Purge
With that simple command of Order 66, Emperor Palpatine's plan came to fruition - the Jedi were wiped out. The tone during that climactic scene was incredibly sombre. The Jedi, blinded by ignorance, were turned on and killed by their Clone Trooper squadrons. Even worse was watching the newly minted Darth Vader casually march into the Jedi Temple and eradicate everyone within. But it didn't end there. It is hinted that over the course of several years that that Vader and the Emperor systematically hunted down and eliminated all remaining Jedi. Who were these Jedi? Where did they run to? How did they survive? What was it like when Vader finally found them? Imagine the sense of desperation that the Jedi who managed to escape the initial slaughter must have felt as they fled throughout the galaxy with Vader in hot pursuit. At no point would they have been able to let down their guard. Visualise even deeper, how it must have felt to suddenly feel a disturbance in The Force and know that Vader was near, and the subsequent moment when they finally heard that deep, mechanical breathing.
