What did Darth Vader get up to between suiting up at the end of Revenge Of The Sith and arriving on that Rebel ship at the start of A New Hope? Over the years, videogames, comics, books and TV episodes dedicated to filling us in. There's never been a movie, though. How did Vader react when he first heard his son had survived? How did he slowly lose the Anakin Skywalker persona? Did he fight many Jedi stragglers over the years? All these questions have been pondered in Star Wars spin-off fiction, and there are good stories to be had in each of those directions. Giving us a movie - or a series of movies starting with first year with the Empire - that explained what Vader did between trilogies could also be a good way for Lucasfilm to regain some of Anakin Skywalkers evil enigma after the prequels mostly mistreated his character. Itd be cool to see a brutal Vader on the warpath, protecting his new Empire at all costs. Itd also be interesting to see if there was a slither of light left in him all along. If he had any doubts or regrets, and if he ever acted upon them. This may not be the likeliest option on this list, but its possibly the one most guaranteed to make money if Lucasfilm have the guts to produce it.
