Not just the most powerful female character in Star Wars, but one of the strongest Sith of any gender.

A list of the people Traya trained makes a fair case for this on its own, since she aided the development of Meetra Surik, Revan, Sion, and Nihilus. And, a few thousand years before Darth Sidious was at it, she was the master at controlling people and influencing the galaxy (and still only Sidious can match her in those stakes).

Formerly a Jedi, under the name Kreia, she left the Order and turned to the Dark Side, where she formed the Sith Triumvirate with her apprentices Sion and Nihilus. They had to combine to overthrow her, after which she set about a bigger goal: destroying the Force completely. She may have failed, and was eventually bested in lightsaber combat by Meetra, but Kreia/Traya nonetheless possessed a huge number of advanced and rare Force powers, could perceive shatterpoints (like fault lines, that could allow someone to influence events with the Force), and predict the future (she foresaw Jango Fett's death 4000 in advance). Add in her smarts and talent for manipulation, and there's no denying her power.
