Star Wars: 10 Strongest Female Characters

7. Asajj Ventress

One of Count Dooku€™s acolytes, Asajj Ventress is far from just another Lightsaber-wielding maniac and became a skilled and influential military commander during the Clone Wars. Originally a Jedi, Ventress abandoned the Order and declared vengeance on them after the death her master who she held in such high regard that she built a statue of him in her fortress and was devastated when Obi-Wan Kenobi stole his Lightsaber. Her position as a Separatist Commander helped to cement her position as a warlord on her homeworld of Ratatak and provided her with a large number of resources, allowing her to operate individually from Dooku. She was also a very proficient commander away from the battlefield, capturing Obi-Wan and torturing him for weeks on end, effectively ruling large areas of Ratatak, and recruiting the Witches of Dathomir to assist in her plot to assassinate Dooku. As well as that, Ventress is also incredibly pragmatic; knowing when to abandon a fight rather than die needlessly, and helping her foes if it means serving her own ends such as joining forces with Obi-Wan in a duel against Darth Maul and his brother, and teaming up with Ashoka Tano after the latter was framed for an attack on the Jedi Temple. She was last seen hijacking a Republic ship after being presumed dead at the Battle Of Boz Pity towards the end of the Clone Wars. Her fate beyond that is unknown but I think it€™s safe to say that she continued to make her mark somewhere in the galaxy.
