Jedi Master Anya Kuro is an enigma to most Jedi; rejecting her name and adopting the title of The Dark Woman as a sign of humility and devotion to the Force, and is famed for her cryptic ways and gruelling and unorthodox training methods such as trying to incite anger in Tusken Padawan ASharad Hett during a training duel with him. Shes basically the Jedi equivalent of a drill sergeant. Her tendency to operate in the shadows and remain largely unnoticed caused her to serve as a spy rather than field commander after the outbreak of the Clone Wars and ultimately helped her to escape Order 66, dying in a duel against Darth Vader almost twenty years after the war ended. And even after her death, she managed to appear as a Force Ghost to Vader and tell him that he could still be redeemed. Trying to redeem someone after theyve killed you is a sure-fire sign that you are not only wise and powerful, but also a true Jedi. The most notable skill of Kuros was an array of obscure but effective Force powers such the ability to control plant life (a talent she used to great effect when battling Vader), bending light around herself to become invisible, seemingly being able to phase through solid objects, and to teleport. All of which heightened her mystique and assisted her role as a spy. Kuro was bizarre and sometimes brutal but a cunning spy and warrior, and worthy of a spot on this list.
