Star Wars: 10 Things From Legends That Need To Be Made Canon

Grand Admiral Thrawn may already be a part of Star Wars canon but there is so much about him in Star Wars: Legends that should be implemented into future projects.

As a villain, Thrawn is very simple. The blue-skinned Chiss is a strategic genius who serves The Empire any way he can. Despite having no superpowers or Sith abilities, Thrawn has proven time and again to be one of the deadliest people in the galaxy, purely because of his tactical mind. Believing he can win any battle by learning about the enemy, Thrawn has gathered a well of knowledge about almost every planet and alien on record.

Debuting in the first book of the Heir of the Empire novels, fans fell in love with the Grand Admiral immediately, resulting in the series being rebranded as The Thrawn trilogy. Despite dying in the conclusion, Thrawn was too interesting to stay buried and has reappeared in many novels and comic books since.

Since he's one of the few Legends characters that will irrefutably appear in upcoming series, it would be wise to incorporate as many elements from the novels as possible.
