4. Who The First Sith Was
While the current Disney Star Wars canon may not have gone as far as to identify exactly which rogue Jedi created the Sith Order 1,000's of years before the Skywalker Saga went down, the Legends section of the galaxy far, far away very much did.
Going by the name of Ajunta Pall, this leader of the Dark Jedi was exiled from the Order before eventually becoming the the first-ever Dark Lord of the Sith.
Why did Pall clash with the Jedi around 7000 BBY, though?
Well, this intelligent Jedi Master actually figured out how to create and shape life whilst studying alchemy. And with the Order feeling that this simply not on, he was forbidden from continuing his work, something that led to Pall and his Dark Jedi followers kicking off a war with the Jedi soon after.
As The Hundred-Year Darkness period reached its end, though, Pall and his pals were defeated.
Refusing to simply accept this, Pall would then land on the planet of Korriban (a.k.a. Moraband) and eventually create a whole new Sith Empire in the years that followed his defeat at the hands of the Jedi.
And the rest was galaxy-changing history.
