5. Cater For Star Wars Gals
This one comes from a father of three girls who love Star Wars. Theres just not enough out there for girls to celebrate their favourite space saga. More recently the US had more of a presence with a girl's clothing range and even some toys that are aimed more at the female market, from Polly Pocket-style Padme dolls and even female R2 units (R2-KT - cute). However, given that the Clone Wars series has a very strong female lead in Ahsoka Tano and shes become a much loved character, its a real shame girls dont get the chance to celebrate Star Wars on the same level as boys, without going down the customisation route. Disney could potentially change this up. Up the merchandise for girls to enjoy. T-Shirts, toys, PJs, kids books, there's a whole of merchandise out there for boys; it's time that love was shared with the girls too. Theres a ton more stuff the Star Wars brand could make us with the female market in mind, and if the rumours are true and the next lead Jedi in Episode 7 is going to be a girl, let the female fans celebrate that a bit more with the merchandise thats put out.
