Star Wars: 10 Truly Disturbing Side Character Backstories

Just from looking at this guy you know he's a slimy character. This male Twi'lek was essentially Jabba's secretary, orchestrating the goings on in his palace and serving the giant slug in whatever way he needed.

In the films we don't see him do all that much, other than skulk about looking shady. He's later revealed to have taken over Jabba's crime empire for a time, but seemingly his only achievement was becoming as fat as his former master.

In order to work for someone like Jabba, you've got to have a pretty questionable moral compass. Bib Fortuna was the perfect candidate. He grew up in an affluent family and had a better start than most on his home world of Ryloth. As a rule, Ryloth had little prospects, and most Twi'leks moved off-world to better their fortunes, many even sold themselves into slavery out of desperation.

Fortuna took advantage of this, and spent his younger days as a slave trader - specifically dealing in his own people - exploiting the less fortunate with no regard for their well being.

Yeah, this guy was a total piece of s**t.
