Star Wars: 10 Worst Crimes Committed In Its Name

5. Why Can't Bad Guys Do Good Things?

star wars extreme makeover Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has had a lot of heartwarming stories during its run and last fall finally saw one with a Star Wars flair. The largest wildfire in Texas history had claimed a firefighter's house, leaving them with nothing. It also turns out that both Chris Zdroj and his eight-year-old twin sons are diehard Star Wars fans and the fire had claimed all their Star Wars memorabilia, including a collection of action figures that Zdroj had been accumulating since the 1970's. Ty Pennington and the gang responded to the tragedy by rebuilding the home dressed as clone troopers and storm troopers. They also donated some toys from their personal collections in a generous effort to replace what the storm had taken away. You'd think that everyone would find this to be a beautiful display of human kindness, but unfortunately one Star Wars fan disagreed. Taking issue with the show's inaccurate depiction of storm troopers, the fan complained that this was a sign of how Disney was going to ruin Star Wars by using it for "trivial b******t." While he may have a valid fear of Disney abusing their newly acquired Star Wars privileges, that was not the time or the place for him to voice his complaints. A family was helped by a charitable organization, which is far more important than this guy's paranoid fear about Star Wars going downhill. Besides, we're coming off the prequel trilogy, so it's not like Star Wars hasn't been embarrassed already.
