14. The Wampa Attack - The Empire Strikes Back

As Darth Vader and his Snowtroopers assault the rebel base, C-3PO takes it upon himself to remove a warning sticker from a door containing a Wampa. When a Snowtrooper stops to inspect it, he's quickly dragged inside by a far-reaching Wampa arm, as his two pals listen at the door and an exasperated Darth Vader walks by.

Now, this is an undeniably goofy scene (especially with the use of the Wilhelm scream), but it just about lands on the right side of cheeky, what with C-3PO being uncharacteristically mischievous and Vader's hilariously menacing silent stare directed towards his underlings.

This would've been an unforgettable moment had it been included in the final film, and certainly not too silly for Star Wars, even with this being the darkest movie in the franchise.
