Star Wars: 14 Awesome Deleted Scenes You Won't Believe They Cut

13. Jerjerrod's Conflict - Return Of The Jedi

The Star Wars universe paints its villains in pretty broad strokes for the most part, so it's a shame that this subplot involving Moff Jerjerrod's conflict over prepping the Death Star to fire on Endor didn't make the final cut.

First off, Jerjerrod's courage is demonstrated by a deleted scene in which he stands up to Vader, who thanks him by nearly Force-choking him to death, and he later expresses reluctance to blow up Endor, in part because many Imperial battalions would also be wiped out in the attack.

Yes, Jerjerrod was ultimately looking out for his toolbag colleagues more than anything, but it was still an uncommonly human moment coming from an Empire employee, even if he was eventually encouraged to proceed as planned.

Still, who doesn't love a little ambiguity in their villains? Sadly, the scenes were cut for time, because you've gotta keep those Ewoks on screen as much as possible, right?
