15. Admiral Ackbar's "It's A Trap!" Wasn't The Original Scripted Line
There are few more iconic lines in the history of Star Wars than Admiral Ackbar's utterance of "It's a trap!" during the Battle of Endor, which has been endlessly repeated by fans and become an Internet meme in its own right.
However, Ackbar almost said something a little different, as the script originally dictated that he say instead, "It's a trick!"
As it turns out, the line was re-dubbed in post-production after test screenings where Lucas and co. felt that the original line simply didn't have the desired impact.
And so, they had Erik Bauersfeld re-record the alternate line, and the rest is history.
