1. Bradley Cooper
There's no actor working in Hollywood at the moment who I can think of that better fits the personality attributes of Han Solo than Bradley Cooper; the guy is extremely good looking, has enormous box office appeal and popularity, and would you know it, he's also an awesome actor. In The Hangover films above all else, he's demonstrated a superb mixture of keeping a calm head under pressure, cockiness and a wise-cracking attitude; this is everything Han Solo is all about, and of course, he's also a ladies man, which is kind of a given for the role. The one road-block: he's already 35 years old, and would probably be pushing 40 by the time they started shooting. However, he's such a strong fit for the role that I think most fans would be willing to look past this. He's got it all; mainstream appeal, but has also done enough convincing with his work on Silver Linings Playbook that he can play subtle as well.
