Star Wars: 5 More Expanded Universe Stories We Want On The Big Screen

4. Galen Marek (Starkiller)

url-12 The Force Unleashed Saga is set in between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Darth Vader is sent by the Emperor to destroy a Jedi who survived Order 66 and goes to Kashyyyk with a unit of the 501st. After defeating the Jedi in battle, Vader discovers a child who is strong in the Force and raises him to become his apprentice: "Starkiller" Vader sends him to kill the remaining Jedi as training for his ultimate goal: assassinating the Emperor so Vader and Starkiller can rule the galaxy together. This is a very recent plot however it is one that has a lot of potential. The success of the game is proof of this. Why Make It? It doesn't stray too far away from what casual fans will know in the film-based SWU. Princess Leia Organa, the Emperor, Darth Vader and Senator Bail Organa all make an appearance. The game itself feels like a film - indeed with the special edition of Force Unleashed 2 the cut scenes were released on a DVD as a movie. It was awesome! The main characters of Starkiller, Juno Eclipse, and Jedi Master Rahm Kota are strong enough to relate to and the story is strong enough for this to exist as a good film in its own right.
